Founder Safety Kit
License Terms
These License Terms explain how you may use Founder Safety Kit materials, what is included in each license tier, and what uses are not allowed.
1. Who these terms apply to
These License Terms apply when you purchase, download, access, copy, store, print, edit, or use Founder Safety Kit materials. By purchasing or using Founder Safety Kit, you agree to follow these terms.
Founder Safety Kit is currently operated under the public name Founder Safety Kit. Formal business entity details and governing-law terms may be updated if a legal entity is formed or after legal review.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your location, to purchase, access, or use Founder Safety Kit. If you purchase or use Founder Safety Kit on behalf of a company, team, organization, employer, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. What you are buying
Founder Safety Kit is a one-time digital product. At launch, the product is delivered as a ZIP package containing PDF materials and spreadsheets.
Purchasing Founder Safety Kit gives you a license to use the materials within the scope of the license tier you purchased. It does not transfer ownership of the original templates, wording, layouts, spreadsheet structures, branding, documentation system, or product organization.
Purchases are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may handle checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoices, receipts, fraud checks, chargebacks, and certain refund processes. Founder Safety Kit does not directly collect or store full payment card details.
3. License tiers
Your permitted use depends on the license tier you purchase.
| License | Permitted internal use | Download access |
|---|---|---|
| Founder License | One individual / one internal project | 5 downloads / 7 days |
| Team License | One company / up to 10 internal users | 15 downloads / 14 days |
| Business License | One company / up to 50 internal users | 50 downloads / 30 days |
Download limits are provided for delivery control and abuse prevention. They do not expand the license scope. If your use grows beyond your purchased license tier, you must purchase or upgrade to the appropriate license before continuing expanded use.
Founder Safety Kit may offer upgrade pricing, discounts, or migration options at its discretion. Upgrade offers are not guaranteed and may change or be withdrawn unless explicitly stated in writing.
4. What you may do
Within your purchased license scope, you may use Founder Safety Kit materials for your own internal business purposes. This includes:
- Editing fields and completing worksheets for your internal use.
- Adding rows or internal notes to spreadsheets.
- Printing copies for licensed internal users.
- Storing completed versions in your own internal systems.
- Keeping reasonable internal backup copies for safekeeping.
- Copying limited excerpts or adapted wording into your own internal policies, checklists, procedures, meeting notes, or records.
You may also share completed or working copies with outside professionals who directly support your own business, such as an attorney, accountant, insurance advisor, IT provider, or operations consultant, when reasonably needed for internal business, legal, compliance, tax, insurance, IT, or operational purposes.
Outside professionals may review or use the materials only to support your licensed internal business needs. They may not reuse, resell, redistribute, repackage, publish, or use the blank kit materials for other clients.
5. What you may not do
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly upload, publish, repackage, sublicense, transfer, or claim authorship of Founder Safety Kit materials.
You may not use Founder Safety Kit as part of your own paid client service unless a separate consultant, agency, MSP, or client-delivery license is offered and purchased later.
You may not remove, hide, obscure, alter, or strip Founder Safety Kit branding, copyright notices, license notices, version labels, disclaimers, or footer marks from the original kit materials or internal working copies. Doing so may terminate or void your license.
You may not upload, publish, post, distribute, or make blank Founder Safety Kit materials available through public or semi-public platforms, including template galleries, public cloud-storage links, GitHub repositories, forums, Discord servers, social media groups, file-sharing sites, or marketplaces.
6. AI, datasets, and automated systems
You may not use Founder Safety Kit materials to train, fine-tune, prompt, seed, populate, or build AI systems, datasets, template libraries, automated document-generation systems, competing products, or derivative commercial products.
Any such use may immediately terminate your license.
7. Ownership
Founder Safety Kit retains ownership of the original kit materials, including text, layout, worksheet structure, spreadsheet structure, branding, design, documentation system, product organization, trademarks, logos, and related materials.
Purchasing a license gives you permission to use the kit within the purchased license scope. It does not transfer ownership of the materials.
You retain ownership of the information, records, notes, policies, workflows, practices, products, services, strategies, and internal business materials you create or enter into your own completed copies of Founder Safety Kit documents.
Founder Safety Kit does not claim ownership of your business, internal structure, products, services, solutions, operations, or completed business records because you used the kit.
8. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for storing your downloaded files securely, keeping reasonable backups, and limiting access to people permitted under your purchased license.
Completed worksheets, spreadsheets, internal records, backups, exports, and copies may contain sensitive business information depending on what you enter into them. You are responsible for storing, securing, backing up, sharing, redacting, and limiting access to completed materials within your own systems.
Founder Safety Kit does not collect, host, review, verify, protect, or control completed customer files stored outside our delivery system.
9. Do not record secrets directly
To protect your own security and integrity, do not enter actual passwords, API keys, private keys, seed phrases, MFA recovery codes, full payment card data, or equivalent secrets into Founder Safety Kit worksheets or spreadsheets.
Where a record is needed, use a safer reference such as the password-manager entry name, secure storage location, responsible owner, review date, or recovery-process note.
10. No professional advice
Founder Safety Kit provides general documentation materials and practical workflow support. It is not legal, tax, financial, insurance, cybersecurity, compliance, or incident-response advice.
Customers are responsible for deciding whether the materials are appropriate for their own business, country, industry, risk level, legal obligations, contractual obligations, internal practices, and professional needs.
11. No certification or endorsement
Founder Safety Kit may cite or reference public guidance, standards, agencies, or recognized practices for informational context.
These references do not mean Founder Safety Kit is a certified, approved, official, complete, compliant, endorsed, or authorized implementation of any third-party guidance, standard, framework, or requirement.
Founder Safety Kit is not endorsed, certified, approved, sponsored, or affiliated with NIST, CISA, FTC, OWASP, ISO, any standards body, or any government agency.
12. Brand and public use
You may publicly state that you use Founder Safety Kit, provided you do not reveal, copy, publish, display, distribute, or share the actual kit materials or any protected portions of the product.
You may not publish screenshots, previews, excerpts, worksheet images, spreadsheet images, or visible portions of Founder Safety Kit materials in public marketing, social media posts, videos, courses, tutorials, sales pages, or promotional materials without written permission.
You may not use the Founder Safety Kit name, logo, FSK monogram, branding, screenshots, product visuals, or trade dress in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, certification, sponsorship, approval, audit, review, or affiliation.
13. Transfers
Each purchased license is assigned to the purchasing person or company only. You may not transfer, sell, assign, sublicense, or give the license to another person, company, client, buyer, successor, or outside party without written permission from Founder Safety Kit.
If a licensed company is sold, merged, renamed, or reorganized, the license does not automatically transfer. The new or changed organization may contact Founder Safety Kit to request a transfer review.
14. Termination and enforcement
Founder Safety Kit may suspend, terminate, or revoke a license if a customer violates these License Terms.
If your license is terminated or revoked, you must stop using Founder Safety Kit and delete or destroy unauthorized copies in your possession or control.
Founder Safety Kit may send a cease-and-desist letter, takedown notice, or other enforcement communication where appropriate.
15. No warranty and no guaranteed outcomes
Founder Safety Kit is provided as general documentation material on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that use of the kit will produce any specific legal, compliance, cybersecurity, operational, financial, cost-saving, time-saving, security, risk-reduction, or business outcome.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Founder Safety Kit is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, data-loss, reputation-loss, business-interruption, operational-disruption, or similar damages arising from your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the kit.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Founder Safety Kit’s total liability for any claim related to the kit, website, purchase, or license will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Founder Safety Kit license giving rise to the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Founder Safety Kit from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising from your misuse of the kit, violation of these License Terms, unauthorized redistribution, unlawful business practices, client-delivery use, removal of branding or notices, or implementation choices.
18. Unauthorized copies and misuse reports
If you receive, find, or are offered Founder Safety Kit materials from any source other than your authorized purchase download link or an approved replacement link, please report it tolegal@foundersafetykit.com.
Do not send passwords, secrets, private customer records, sensitive incident evidence, or private business records with your report.
19. General terms
If any part of these License Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue in full effect.
Failure by Founder Safety Kit to enforce any part of these License Terms does not waive our right to enforce that part later. Any waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific situation described.
These License Terms, together with the applicable Terms of Sale and official policy pages, represent the agreement between you and Founder Safety Kit regarding your use of the kit.
Section headings are included for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these License Terms. If these terms are translated into another language, the English-language version will control unless Founder Safety Kit expressly states otherwise.
